Zing Danger Sign Respirable Crystalline Silica
Zing Eco Safety Sign "Danger Respirable Crystalline Silica" clearly communicates hazards associated with crystalline silica. Crystalline silica has been classified as a human lung carcinogen. Exposure to crystalline silica can entail serious risks including illness, disability, and death. To address this serious health hazard, OSHA has established a Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) which specifies the maximum amount of crystalline silica to which workers may be exposed during an 8-hour work shift (29 CFR 1926.55, 1910.1000). OSHA also requires hazard communication training for workers exposed to crystalline silica and additionally requires a respirator protection program. Zing Danger Signs support OSHA compliance and supply critical information to workers regarding the dangers of crystalline silica.
Signs are made from high quality recycled material that is UL Validated for recycled content which substantiates material compliance with various green codes, standards, and procurement policies including the LEED Green Building Rating System, IgCC, GSA Advantage, ASHRAE 189.1 and others.
