This unusual Z-hinged wallmount fiber enclosure is the solution when you need to make fiber interconnects in narrow spaces. At only 8'" high and 12" wide, it'll fit in corners and cubbies that don't give you enough room to swing open doors on standard cabinets. The front compartment of the locking cabinet swings up giving you access to your fiber assemblies. The middle of the cabinet, between the two compartments, holds two standard snap-in fiber adapter panels. To access the splices in the rear of the cabinet, simply release two spring-loaded screws and fold the front panel down.
The cabinet comes cable organizers, cable ties, and built-in cable rings in the front compartment. The rear compartment features a Kevlar cable clamp and a space for an optional splice tray. Route cable into each comparment via rubber grommets. The cabinet is built with heavy-duty 16-AWG cold rolled steel. It has a riveted construction. Once mounted and locked, it will keep your fiber connections very secure from unauthorized access.
